I use DIR2BOOT, its easy and can make either a CDI or NERO image. I
am using pacpackdc as an example.
First off download DIR2BOOT from
my site. Then unpack it in a directory like C:/DIR2BOOT (as shown).
Unpack pacpackdc.zip to C:/DIR2BOOT/PACPACKDC. (as shown) You'll
have to find an IP.bin
as it's not included in most of my releases, and include it in the packpacdc
directory .
Next step is to click DIR2BOOT.EXE - then Click BROWSE
Next you browse to the folder: pacpackdc
(make sure you include your roms in the roms directory
and that they match the list included
in the readme, and are of the right mame set - 36.15 and up.)
once done, click Discjuggler or Nero (it's your call as
to what you want - pick what you know works for you)
Dir2Boot then makes a SELFBOOT image, ready to burn for your
DC (CDI (discjuggler) image creation shown here)
Here is what you should have in the directory after the image is created.
Follow either the Discjuggler (CDI) burning
guide, or the NERO (NRG) burning guide.
It really is that simple.
